Let me tell you about our tasty 'Valere Kelp Pepper', a true New Zealand product.

Prior to developing our business selling tasty New Zealand kelp, I sampled many other varieties that are available to purchase.

My impression was 'tasteless sand'!!

Naturally, many people know about the great benefits of kelp and want to use it in their diet, so they opt to swallow pills to avoid having to spoil food with the gritty substances - often referred to as kelp salt. However, often the gritty kelp they swallow (be it in pills or the sandy sort) is not from New Zealand. Some of it comes from Europe, Canada and where else, who knows?

So why wouldn't you want to use a New Zealand product, which is fresh, tasty, value for money and rich in iodine?

Valere kelp Pepper is all of that. It is made from macrocystis pyrifera kelp, sustainably harvested from live growing plants in the ocean - nothing else is added to it. None of it is collected as drift (dead floating product) or from the beach.

You only need to shake it onto your meals two or three times a week and that is your iodine intake sorted out. It comes in shakers 'ready to use' on the table, and there is no need to go to the cupboard to find those pills.
